Amazing little city

What do you do on a rainy day? You explore! And here's what we found - A Community fitness center, complete with an olympic size lap pool (6 lanes) and a connected aerobics pool - a work our room that had the very latest in equipment (including interactive TV programs on the bikes) and all the nautilis and free weights, oh and there was a full size basketball court and many ping pong and pool tables and all this for $3 a visit. Then there was the Civic Center across the street with all the expected events, another building for the community theater, and ANOTHER building called the Activity Building (you can guess what's in there. Also there are 2 museums (free admission), and more eating places then you can imagine - don't think too many stay at home cooks here.
All in all this is an absolutely wonderful and yet undiscovered place to spend the cooler temps of Maine. And the same driving distance (+or- 4 miles). So now let's see if I can find a place for 2 months next year.
