OOPS - a slight mis-step

After nearly a month on the road, the vacation bug caught up with us and whether it was the local water, too much sun, lots of fried food or too many fun things - it was all brought to a very definite stop yesterday. We were both attacked and it put us down hard. Terry spent much of the day sacked out and I wandered about the condo till about 3.
By then neither of us could stand it so regardless, we headed off to the beach - only to be socked in with fog shortly after we got there.
A quiet night and never too far from the porcelain throne, we woke this morning feeling famished - headed over to 'THE BEST BREAKFAST ON THE BEACH" and enjoyed their "Golden Menu" (cool deal for seniors - about half price)
Then off to the Coleman retail outlet and a trip north to explore the area. What great fun and such a glorious place. Everyone we meet is super friendly. At the gas station, was across from a biker, complete with leather, Harley pins, and a few slogans pasted on his helmet that cannot be repeated here and I asked him about the green handle gas pumps (BP apparently doesn't follow the convention of diesel uses green in Maine) and he turned out to be a one of the friendliest guys we've met along the way. Chatted for 5 minutes until his rider showed up and off they went.

  1. Why doesn't it surprise me you were chatting with a stranger. LOL! Sorry to hear you guys got the flu. Glad it was only a 24 hour thing.
