Realized that the following posts needed some explanation. The owner of Papa Rocco's Pizza here in Gulf Shores decided that being from the Old Sod, he needed to have a St Patrick's day celebration and about 15 years ago started a pub crawl. Beginning at his place the group meandered to some of the pubs in Gulf Shores.
As you can see from the pictures, it has grown to over 1000 people and all kinds of costumes. Was great fun and having green beer at 10AM was something else. Seems that many of the 'Irish' had started Waaaaay before that.
The costumes were spectacular - kilts everywhere and just a good time by all. Enjoy the short video to get an idea of the crawl.
